THE FACTOR OF CHANGE IN THE POLITICAL ATMOSPHERE - Hon Wemi Jones the Right Choice

Missing from this explanation is a belief that the grassroots will pick 'better' leader. Our evidence suggests that this is not an explicit argument typically  made by reformers. In this way,  explicit criticism of prior and current leaders is - someone who achieves better electoral results, listens more to the grassroots, or is ideologically more closely aligned with activists.

The race to 2019 House of Representatives in Kabba/ Bunu/Ijumu Federal constituency  is gathering momentum as more people are showing  interest in the race which is making the contest more robust, interesting and challenging.

The position of representations is quite embroiled in the instinctive quality of the aspirant and the participation of the   electorate at the polls. If you prepare for something well, it's always in hopeful expectations of desired result except in exceptional cases where the desire of the man involved is quite different from the thought  of God.

Hon. Wemi Jones has being positioned to transcend the obvious of representations. The very first day I met him years back after our deliberation, I knew he was ready  to change the face of our constituency and Okunland that comprises Kabba, Bunu, Ijumu, Yagba West, Yagba East, Mopa Amuro, Oworo, and others.

He has built capacity where necessary and  promoted peace and tranquility among Okun people. Recently, he commissioned a cassava  farm and  processing venture in Aiyede Bunu with the promise to replicate in other parts of Okun in no distance time.

His aspiration to be in the lower chamber of the National Assembly in 2019 is merited because of his antecedent and commitment to humanity. For the avoidance of doubt, Hon. Wemi Jones would never promise what he can not deliver. His ideology is very clear - "it's not going to be business as usual".  He has walked the road of poverty before  as a young boy, but through hard work and dedication with God's mercy, he is able to humbly present himself today for service.

Notwithstanding, this growing pressure for change and the state of affairs in our dear State, his tenure will witness  tremendous impacts through legislation, oversight functions  and collaboration with relevant authorities for socio-economic infrastructures in the constituency.

'Irorun De' is far beyond mere slogan, we really deserve dividend of democracy in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency.

Historically, our constituency should  be among the class of well developed constituencies but the choice of right  candidates have always been our major problem. The time has come to say 'NO' to game of deceit and cacophony of voices  in our political sphere.

We will continue to appeal to our inner angels and work together to make this project a reality come 2019.

Thank you all.
