*The Most Important Prayers.*(3).

Colossians 1:11-12
*"Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light*"

The  part of the prayer we're considering today is very paramount. It says,  Lord strengthen me with all might( not some might, but with all might) , for what purpose? It's for the purpose of possessing a "quality"of patience and longsuffering garnished WITH JOY.  Not everyone has this in their life.  Some could exercise some level of patience and endurance with pretence or  fear,  because of an accommodation challenge,  certain disadvantages or because they are constrained  by some only God knows what. We see alot of this in marriages, where one of the spouse is still in that union patiently waiting and enduring until the children get to the age of accountability before he or she files in divorce if no evident change is seen.
Paul wrote  in 1Cor 13:4 that, Love suffers long (is patient) and kind; God desires us to demonstrate this "quality" of patience, a long-suffering in our marriages, career, businesses and in our Christian persecutions and yet be kind to our spouses, bosses, collegue and persecutors.  But this is not possible without joy.
*The only kind of patience and endurance, a long-suffering that would be rewarded by God is that which is mixed and practiced with joy. And this don't come naturally, you have to pray it in,  into your spirit,... for it to reflect in your attitude*.
My friend, don't you think you need to pray this prayer?

SayWithMe;
*Lord, strengthen me with all might needed  to demonstrate patience and longsuffering with joy,  everyday, in every way and at every place, in Jesus name.*
