*Faith Alone is not enough* (1)
2 Peter 1:5
*And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue.....*

You would not appreciate this text if you don't understand the preceded verses. Let's check it.
2 Peter 1:3-5 *According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him  that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these (exceeding great and precious promises ) you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue....*

Our Faith in the finished work of Christ  brought us contact with God's divine power  that afford us the right to all things that pertains to the physical and spiritual life. We also have access to partake in God's divine nature. We've being brought into a family filled with exceedingly great and precious promises. Glory to God.  In spite of all these benefits we have a responsibility left for us. Our text revealed it;  *...with a diligent attitude add to your faith virtue (moral goodness of character and behaviour, a particular good quality in someone’s character, a quality of...being brave, strong and  excellent.)*

*I guess you have seen believers full of faith but poor in morals, weak in character, they are unreliable, they're always timid, poor soundness of mind. They never do anything with an excellent touch. This makes outsiders not to see and appreciate the value of their faith in God. If their boss at work needs to fire staff  on moral or character or excellence ground, such are 95% qualified. This is not the testimony of a transforming Faith*.

Friend, it is time to add virtue to the quality of your Christian faith, and this you must do with all diligence. 2 Peter 1:10.... for if you do these things, you shall never fall.

*I am committed to adding virtue to my faith everyday, in every thing I do,  in every place I am, help me Holy Spirit. In Jesus name*
