Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye: The Voice of the Voiceless.

"Leadership is not restricted to a title or designation. It is about impact, influence and inspiration. The Impact involves getting results and influence is about spreading the passion you have for your people, and giving them hope where they think there's none."- Promise Emmanuel

We may recall a Motion by Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye and Rt. Hon.(Prince) Kolawole Matthew on the need for the state Government to as a matter of urgency look into the understaffed nature of one of the institution in Kogi West, (KOGI STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION, TECHNICAL KABBA). This Motion has received the attention of the state Government under the Leadership of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, and an advert has been placed for recruitment.

The result of this articulate and vibrant representation is best seen and felt when the voice of your representative is being  heard and implemented.

We say a very big congratulations to the good people of Okun Nation as they record yet another land slide victory over unemployment through their Sons: Distinguish Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye, Member representing Ijumu,  State House Constituency and Rt Hon. Prince Mathew Kolawole, the current Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly.

More jobs have been created and the school will have more patronage from Okun people, Kogi People and Nigeria at large and this will further stimulate economic activities which would ensure  decisive  development.

Qualitative representation is what we've always yearned  for. In consolidation , motions raised by Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye are people oriented. Motions that has a direct impact on the heart of the masses. A few highlights of such Motions includes:

-Motion calling on the State government for the completion of Ekinrin-Adde and Iyara township roads.

-Motion calling on the State Government to address the menace of Fulani “Herdsmen”  crisis in Ijumu Local Government.(Security)

-Reconstruction of Asaya-Ogidi-Ayere-Ogale Aduge road.

These are some of the bills he has raised on the floor which are been pursued with political and people intelligence.

I am pleased to inform you all that 90% of all these Motions have been giving adequate attention by the State Government as all roads construction with respect to the motions raised by Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye has been captured in the 2017 Budget and implementation is ongoing.

As the year rounds up, Bills such as Establishment of Kogi State Television(KSTV) sponsored by Distinguish Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye has passed First Reading and  would soon scale Second Reading by the grace of God once the House resumes from recess.

However, last week the State Government announced the establishment of Kogi State Television(KSTV). When two good heads synergise, the result is always good and the masses will always be at the receiving end.

God bless the Young Digital Governor of Kogi State Comr. Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello for his listening ears and prompt action towards recommendations and motions from my Principal!

God bless Distinguish Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye, member representing the good people of Ijumu State Constituency doubled as the Chief Whip of Kogi State House of Assembly.
